I was right at the front of the glasgow show where Scott Weiland broke the news right before Fall to pieces!
He said and i quote "You're witnessing something really special tonight. This is the last ever Velvet Revolver tour"
Once he said that Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave all looked at each other. They sang fall to pieces then.. Scott goes over to the side of the stage and argues with the sound guy. After a couple of songs he threw his mic down and walked off. After a long wait Duff came out with the band and sang the start of its so easy. Scott shows up about half way through.. sang really half assed then gone again...
Really doesnt look good. Especially as the band at the start of the evening were late on by half an hour and stood waiting for Scott for about 10 mins on stage. Clearly all very uncomfortably.. Looks like its true guys. Straight from Scotts mouth.

Hi All,
in total shock tonight.At the Glasgow gig Scott announced "you're witnessing something very special here tonight, the last Velvet Revolver tour". He also refered to the crowd as "stinking individuals " during Sex Type Thing.The rest of the guys didn't look to happy.They took ages to come back on for the encore and when they did Duff started singing "it's so easy" by himself until Scott eventually came on stage.Good gig,great set but there is something going on ! Feel a wee bit sad really.

Yeh i had a great time meeting the guys before the show.. then that just bummed me right the fuck out. I hope someone clears this up and its good news! I doubt it though..

Well look at the bright side. Maybe Slash, Duff ect will form a new and better band. STP will tour and be huge again. Make a new cd.

i was there too...what a shite thing to hear.
everyone was screaming when he said it was something special, then the next part of the sentence everything went almost silent...horrible thing.
i thought he wasnt coming back out when they went into its so easy...cause duff started the song himself on vocals i thought maybe scott had said he wasnt hitting the stage again.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!! Goddamn it! I fuckin' knew this was going to happen!!! Fuck you Scott! (Sorry, I just had to say that.) Can't say its a total surprise. The writing was on the wall wasn't it? Who couldn't see it coming? But the break-up topics always got shot down by those in deeper denial than myself and believe me denial is one of my strongest defense mechanisms. It wasn't always easy to remain optimistic when Scott so obviously was on the "outside" from day one. But I loved this band and was more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and he actually grew on me. But all his STP talk of late was really getting unnerving. God, now I'm just fuckin' depressed...really fuckin depressed

Yea id really hope these forums stay up, this is the highlight of my morning to come on these forums and check out any new news you guys have up. I never really posted alot but I know every single person on here and hope I dont see this site go down.
As for VR's last tour, it was pretty obvious, and of course my guess is scott is going to go back to STP, but who knows if they can be what they use to be. As far as slash, duff, and matt go, id probably put my money down that the next thing they do will not be togther, god forbid they need the media labeling their new band as another "gnr minus axl".
And fucking who knows as big as this news is, it really could be the fucking time for a GNR reunion, as much as I never thought it would happen, it really fucking could happen now.
Anyways lets all pray slash makes another band ASA FUCKING P!!

Well hardly surprising news, but he could have least waited until the final night of the tour to reveal it. He must have been right pissed off tonight.
I want to know if the whole band agreed that tonight would be the night and if Scott was to be the person to tell.
